This month Datagate CEO Mark Loveys attended a US-based networking and knowledge sharing event that’s billed as the biggest SaaS event of the year.
Datagate’s attendance was part of an initiative sponsored by New Zealand’s Callaghan Innovation, that resulted in around 100 New Zealand SaaS entrepreneurs attending SaaStr this year.
SaaStr is the world’s largest community of Software-as-a-Service founders and entrepreneurs, with over three million website views per month. Each year SaaStr hosts an event to bring together thousands of founders, executives and investors. This year’s bash –SaaStr ANNUAL 2018 – was held in San Francisco from 6-8 February and attended by more than 10,000 people.
“This was a golden opportunity to access knowledge and networks,” Mark Loveys says.
“The event is unique in attracting a broad community of SaaS investors, founders and executives. I gained insights that will help Datagate accelerate its international revenue growth, and I’ve made new contacts that could potentially progress our investment and distribution strategies.”
Over the three days, more than 250 speakers on five stages delivered talks spanning all aspects of start-up success, including sales, marketing, customer success, product, engineering, finance and operations.
